Wisteria from beads - master class

When you look at the incredibly beautiful wisteria, a tree made of beads by skillful needlewomen, it's even hard to imagine that such a miracle was made by oneself! Grapes that shimmer in the light, look like alive. And how much work is invested in the creation of such crafts! However, in fact, even a beginner in entertaining beadwork will understand how to make wisteria of beads by hand after acquaintance with our simple detailed master class.

We will need:

  1. The scheme of weaving wisteria from beads is simple, but requires attentiveness and patience. To make brushes we take a meter of 0.3 mm of wire, in the center we string six lilac beads alternately and twist an oval loop. On one side, we also make two more loops of seven beads (the same color). The next two loops will consist of pink, lilac and pink beads (three in each color). Then on two eyelets from ten pink and four light pink beads, and from pink and light pink beads (we take on four each color). Again, two loops of twelve light pink and thirteen white beads (observe the sequence!).
  2. The second side of the wire is also twisted in a similar way. Loops then turn to the top of the brush, slightly bending their tips. For the assembly of wisteria from beads, 32 such brushes will be needed.
  3. We begin to create a green bead leaf for our wisteria. On the wire (0.4 mm) string beads, and then from every dozen we twist the oblong loops, which should turn out to be eleven. We twist it so our twig turns out. They will need, like brushes, 32 pieces. Next, we connect the leaves and brushes, we proceed to assembling the branches. We connect for this wire (1mm) a couple of twigs, wrapped in threads. We retreat to 1 cm, again add a branch. So you should attach four branches in turn. We should have four ready-made branches. To the fifth we add two more branches.
  4. The tree can already be harvested. The top are two large connected branches, fastened with wire (3 mm) and wrapped in thick strands. Below we also fasten the branch, and we also wrap it with a thread. The remaining two branches (from six and eight small twigs) to the bottom are wrapped in a thick thread. Then we attach the twig of the eight components to the others first, and then - from six, slightly twisting the trunk.
  5. In the bottom of the plastic bottle, pour a mixture of alabaster and PVA glue (1: 1), insert the tree and wait for complete drying. Make sure to do the craft for the props so that the tree does not fall out of the stand. To avoid contamination with foil wrap the branches of wisteria and treat with a brush the barrel of the same mixture. When the base dries, proceed to painting the trunk. Use watercolor in several layers or a mixture of PVA and gouache glue. Can be slightly wiped with sandpaper and add a little bronze.

Creating such a craft, of course, is a laborious process, but the result you will definitely be satisfied. Graceful and gentle wisteria will decorate your house, and a more souvenir souvenir is hard to come up with. The principle and the scheme of weaving of a tree can be useful also for creation of other hand-made articles from multi-colored beads (a flexible birch, red mountain ash , exotic bonsai sakura , weeping willow and others).
