Split pictures (puzzles)
For example, you can make the game itself, developing logical thinking and fine motor skills - making puzzles with your own hands. We need 2 identical postcards, it is better that the child choose them himself. On the back of the postcard, draw a pencil line, dividing the postcard into several parts. Then cut the picture along the lines, mix the pieces and suggest the child to restore the picture. And the second postcard will serve as a model.

Home version of this developmental game M. Montessori, can also be done by yourself. We need: a box from under the shoes or a plastic container, a sharp knife for paper, an adhesive tape, a pencil and objects of various shapes.
- Draw on the cover 3-4 figures - a circle, triangle, square, rectangle and cut them with a knife.
- The lid is closed, and if necessary, we fix with an adhesive tape, so that during the game it is impossible to remove the lid.
- We take items that can be pushed into these holes, for example thread coils, match boxes, balls, etc.
- To the child to play more fun, we glue objects and a box with colored paper.
And now we offer the child to put the items in the box with the help of holes in the lid (coil in a round, matchboxes in a rectangular). This game helps develop logical thinking and master the form of objects.
Cushion book
There are many children's developing games, made in the form of rugs or books, some of them can also be made by themselves. Sew your child a pillow book, in addition, such a book turns soft, it is impossible to get hurt, and if it gets dirty - it can always be washed. So, to make this thing, we need: a sintepon, a material of various colors and textures, it is desirable that there are pieces of fabric with funny images of flowers and animals. If this is not the case, you can make figurines of the most multi-colored fabric or purchase thermo-applications.
- We cut out two identical rectangles from a monophonic fabric and between them we lay a sintepon and we sew, here is the first page of our book.
- For each page we sew appliqués cut from pieces of cloth of different colors of the sun, flowers, fruits, etc. Some of the figures can be made in print, somewhere we sew colored buttons and bows. You can make some figures, butterflies and fruits on Velcro so that the child can hold them in their hands, but it is better to sew such figures on long ribbons or rubber bands to the book so that they will not get lost.
- When all the pages are ready, make a cover. Fold all the pages together and measure the total thickness, add to this number another 1 cm. About so much more pages you need to make the cover of the book. We prepare the cover, as well as the pages, i.e. we cut out 2 rectangles from the fabric and quilted the sintepon.
- We are sewing pages to the finished cover. The edge of the page is sewn to the middle of the cover. The cover on the outside is also decorated with various figures and letters from the material. The book is ready.
Board game color
This game develops color perception, helps memorize the names of colors, develops attention and memory.
To make this game you need 2 sheets of cardboard, colored paper, scissors, glue, felt-tip pen and ruler.
- Divide sheets of cardboard into 12 squares.
- Cut out the colored paper 24 (2 of each color) smaller squares.
- Now we glue the colored paper onto the cardboard, as a result you will get 2 sheets of cardboard with the same set of colors.
- We cut one sheet of cardboard into squares, and the second is left as a playing field.
- We offer the child to play - arrange color cards on a cardboard sheet, so that the colors of the card and the playing field match.
