The central market is the main shopping center of Sharjah , it is the largest in the city. Known as the Blue Market of Sharjah, it is an excellent example of Arab design. Many people go here just for the bazaar. Here you can buy everything, and gold is sold at the lowest price in the world.
Description
The blue market of Sharjah is called because of the hundreds of thousands of blue tiles that cover the building. The market has 2 wings, in which there are more than 600 stores. The buildings are connected by pedestrian crossings. From the first to the second floor it is easy to climb the escalator. For air cooling, air conditioners and wind towers, used since ancient times, are used. In cafes and eateries you can sit, take a breath, drink coffee or tea, so that you can continue shopping with new strength. Usually visitors spend here for several hours.
On the first floor you can buy:

If the language barrier is insurmountable, you can also use the calculator for a counter offer. In any case, it is worth to offer half of the asking price. The market opens at 9:00 and runs until 23:00 with a short break. It works every day except Friday.
