A chicken made of felt is a good souvenir and a bright toy for a child. You can make such a chicken with the children. And today we will learn how to make a chicken out of felt with our own hands.
Chicken from felt by own hands - a master class
For work we need:
- felt yellow, red, orange and green colors;
- sintepon;
- thread;
- needle;
- black beads;
- scissors;
- two red sequins and two red beads.
Operating procedure:
- We will make a pattern of chicken made of felt, consisting of trunk, paws and two parts of the waistcoat - the back part and the front part.
- Two details of the trunk of the chicken will be cut out of yellow felt.
- From the red felt we'll cut out the paws (four parts) and the details of the vest - one back and two front ones.
- From an orange felt we will cut out a beak and two small florets, and from green - four small leaves.
- Details of the waistcoat are sewn to the details of the trunk.
- Sew the details of the trunk with yellow threads, leaving an unclosed patch on the tummy.
- We fill the body with filler - sintepon or any other.
- We sew on the belly of the chicken an uncleared plot.
- Sew paws from the prepared red details.
- Paws, too, fill the sintepon.
- We sew the paws to the chicken.
- Vest is decorated with flowers and leaves, sewn with small stitches. To flowers we sew sequins and beads.
- Sew a chicken orange beak and eyes-beads.
