Guitar from sweets

It will take:

• stencil for guitar;
• dense cardboard;
• Styrofoam;
• adhesive: PVA, torque, glue gun and double-sided adhesive tape;
• corrugated paper of silver and gold colors;
• sweets of different kinds;
• thick twisted cord;
• thread of gold;
• stationery carnations, pre-painted with gold paint.

Progress:

1. With the help of the stencil we cut out the body of the guitar from the cardboard and the neck on two parts.
2. Cut out the same parts from the foam and glue them to the cardboard. If there is not enough solid foam, you can stick it in pieces. The same details are glued together.
3. since the corrugated paper from the PVA glue will stretch, then glue it with a double-sided scotch: the bulk - silver, and the neck - gold. In order not to see the joints and unevennesses on the sides of the main part, we cut out a strip of silvery corrugated paper, the width equal to the width of our guitar, and paste them on the scotch tape.
4. With the help of a glue gun, we stick on the edge of the guitar a thick twisted decorative cord and selected sweets.
5. In the middle of the top part of the guitar, we glue the cord around and the picture with congratulations.
6. Fixing 6 clichés on the neck and the same number on the base, we stretch the golden threads between them. These will be the strings of our guitar.
7. We pack our bouquet of sweets in the form of a guitar in cellophane and a gift is ready!

If you do not have foam at hand, the guitar base can be done differently:

1. From cardboard, we cut out two details of the neck and body according to the template.
2. Hot adhesive glued along the edge of one part of the body and the neck of 2 layers of insulation for windows.
3. We connect the wire with both parts of the body (passing it through all the layers) and in the upper part we cut out the round hole, but it is better to do this before fastening.
4. By connecting the neck and the body of the guitar, we glue all surfaces with sweets, fixing them with hot glue or on double-sided scotch tape.
