Slippers from fur with their own hands

Most often in private homes in the winter, very cold floors. Therefore, to keep health, it is recommended to wear warm room slippers. Now very often you can find on sale fur products: vests, slippers, booties. But if you make them yourself, they will be much warmer.

It will take:

• pattern;
• fleece;
• soft leather for insole;
• fur.

Home slippers can be made both from artificial fur, and from natural, it all depends on your abilities and desires.

How to make a pattern?

There are two ways to create a pattern for a fur slipper:

1. Print ready, increasing or decreasing sweat if necessary.
2. Make yourself by the size of your foot.

1. To make a sole, we draw a summer slap along the contour. We cut out 2 pieces of such details.
2. We take one of the details and cut it in half. Apply the halves at a distance of 7-8cm on the paper and circle. The resulting part of the sock is attached to the leg and the extra cut off.
3. We measure the width of an even part of the nose piece slipper (Ш1) and set the points, leaving from the edges of 3.5 - 4cm. Then we measure the length of the insole (D1).
4. Make a rectangle of size Ш1хД1. We glue it to the detail of the nose and cut out the middle, as shown in the photo, along the set points, leaving flat bands on each side. The pattern for our slippers is ready.

Sewing Slippers

Using the patterns, we cut out 6 parts:

• fleece outsole;
• fleece outsole with allowance;
• top piece of fleece;
• the top detail of fur;
• sole with fur coat allowance;
• outsole of leather.

In order to make a part with allowance, it is necessary to the contour of the existing patterns, add 4-6mm.

1. Sew the details with allowances from fur and fleece with each other. The fur must be turned inside.
2. We take the sole from fleece without allowance and sew it to the workpiece.
3. We insert the fur blank into a fleece blank and sew on the upper edge, leaving a hole for turning.
4. We turn it out so that the fleece is on the outer part of the sneaker, and the fur is inside. Sew the left hole.
5. We sew the leather insole to the workpiece with an embossed stitch, for convenience you can make holes for the needle in the skin in advance.
