- mix the mass together with garlic juice with camphor oil (3 drops);
- make a small gauze cut, fold it in half;
- lay the garlic-camphor mass on the fabric, roll it into a thin cylinder;
- insert the obtained tampon into the diseased ear for 2 hours;

In addition, with severe pain during the development of purulent otitis media of the inner ear helps such a tool:
- one medium-sized onion to grind and squeeze the juice;
- Add to it a teaspoon of butter, pre-melted in a water bath;
- add half a teaspoon of camphor oil to the mixture in a warm form;
- soak a cotton swab with the resulting solution;
- insert it into the diseased ear as deeply as possible;
- leave for 3-4 hours.
