Ampel catarrhtus differs from its usual appearance: its stems and flowers are lowered down, unlike the upright stems of the traditional variety, which flowers envelop the top with a fluffy cap.

Sow seeds of ampelic catarrhtum for seedlings should be in February, and for growing outdoors - in March, when the light day will be longer. It blooms in May-June: until this time it is necessary that the flower grow stronger and well rooted.

The plant likes loose nutrient soil with good moisture and air permeability. The pot with the flower is best placed in a warm and well-lit place, but, of course, without drafts and direct sunlight. Well perceives the flower catarratus ampel moist air, and watering it requires abundant. At the same time, make sure that the water does not stagnate in the pot or pan.
