Children's Museum Miia-Milla-Manda

The Miia Milla Manda Children's Museum is located in Kadriorg Park. This place will not leave any child indifferent. Here, small visitors become adults, they have a profession and a house, only a smaller size than in real life. The museum is designed for children from 4 to 11 years.

Interesting information about the museum

The building of the children's museum is a historical building, which was erected in 1937. At different times the building housed a library and a school. In 2003, a museum was opened, which differs significantly from the others. Firstly, all the exhibits can be touched by hands, and secondly, the tours are held in a playful form, therefore for children the hours spent in the museum pass unnoticed.

The museum recreates all objects of real life, only in a smaller size - from the bakery and atelier to the railway. Each of the small visitors can try on one of the professions, for this they have all the "tools". Each of the children can choose a lesson to taste and try themselves in this specialty under the supervision of museum workers.

The museum received its name on behalf of a little girl named Miiamilla. She was very inquisitive and especially interested in how the surrounding world works. At the same time, the main theme of the museum is not only the knowledge of the world, but also friendship. It is she who is devoted to the main exhibition, which begins the tour of the halls.

In the museum there is a restaurant where chairs and tables also have a smaller size than usually found outside the museum of Miia Milla Manda.

How to get there?

The museum is located in Kadriorg Park, which can be reached by bus No. 19, 29, 35, 44, 51, 60 and 63. But if you want to visit only the museum, then you better take the tram number 3, which stops 100 meters from Miia Milla Manda. The tram stop on which you need to get off is called "Kadriorg".
