Treatment of conjunctivitis in dogs

If conjunctivitis in a dog is caused by mechanical irritants, then the best first aid will be washing the eye of the pet cooled with boiled water using a pear, followed by rubbing. To relieve inflammation after washing, you can inject the pet with Levomycitin or Kanamycin. Similarly, get rid of allergic conjunctivitis, while making sure that the stimulus is removed. After the procedure, it is better to wear a special plastic collar on the dog so that it does not comb the eyes.

In case of festering, severe reddening and abundant mucous discharge as a result of bacterial infection, it is recommended to take the animal to a specialist.
