The Vallnord ski area is located in the north of Andorra in the Pyrenees and combines three ski resorts : Pal, Arinsal and Arkalis.
Arkalis
The highest part of the Vallnord is Arkalis. This resort is famous for the abundance of complex trails, absolutely not suitable for beginners, and magnificent views. For skating there are equipped 2 black tracks, 11 red, 6 blue and 8 green. Their total length is 30 kilometers. In addition, there are slopes designed for sports and freestyle competitions. Pal and Arinsal
The ski resorts of Pal and Arinsal are interconnected by a cable car, and getting to them is easier than to Arkalis. They are much more popular than their fellow, because they give much more opportunities to enjoy skating to beginners. For beginners, there are 4 tracks. Blue routes - 16, reds - 16 and black - 5. In this part of Vallnord there are as many as two ski schools and two training centers for children from 1 year to 4 years.
