Do I need a visa to Macedonia?
Of course, it is necessary. But there are a number of countries whose citizens can not bother with its design. So, first of all, the residents of Russia , Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are subject to a visa-free regime until April 2016. This is possible only if you are visiting Macedonia for tourist purposes or are going to see your friends and relatives. Entry for the Schengen visa
If you are the holder of a valid Schengen visa category "C", you do not need to register a separate Macedonian. True, the term of each separate entry should not exceed 15 days. Here it will not be superfluous to mention some of the requirements put forward for the Schengen visa:
- it must act after leaving Macedonia for a minimum of 6 days;
- The visa must be double or multiple;
- it is prohibited to enter with a single entry visa;
- must operate in the territory of all Schengen countries.
Registration of a visa at the consulate
When applying to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Macedonia in your city, do not forget to submit the following documents:
- completed and signed questionnaire;
- a passport and a copy of its first page;
- one black-and-white or color photo (size 3x4 cm);
- invitation from a legal or physical person, or confirmation of the hotel reservation, or voucher of the travel company in which you purchased it;
- a photocopy or original of the medical insurance policy for the entire period of the trip;
- if you take your children with you, present a copy of their birth certificate;
- in the case that the baby is traveling with a third person,
the latter must submit a notarized power of attorney for the child's removal.
The visa is issued within 1-3 days. As for the consular fee, it is 12 euros.
Registration of a visa at the border
If you travel as part of a tourist group, you have the right to apply for a visa at the border. So, you should show your passport and documents that will confirm the purpose of your visit. Then you will be asked to fill out a control-statistical card, in which you specify the passport number, name and surname, date of birth, citizenship.
