Montenegro or Croatia - which is better?

On the warm coast of the beautiful Adriatic there are two states, famous for their tourist resorts: Croatia and Montenegro. Both of them are very interesting both in terms of active rest, and in terms of natural beauties and attractions. Those who are going to visit this European, but at the same time exotic resort, there is a natural question: where it is better to go to Croatia or Montenegro, what is cheaper and where is more interesting?

Advantages of recreation in Croatia

It is generally recognized that Croatian resorts are more expensive. The reason for this is the closer relationship of this state with the European Union and, what is characteristic, a higher, "European" level of service. Local hotels do not accept the all-inclusive meal plan , so it's more convenient for vacationers to rent accommodation and take care of food and entertainment themselves.

Croatia over the territory is much larger than Montenegro and, accordingly, there are more sights. You can visit this country four times, and each time to visit different places. And during a tourist trip to Montenegro, you most likely will have time to go round this whole small country in a week.

What is good about rest in Montenegro?

And yet, what is the difference between Croatia and Montenegro in terms of tourism, where is it better to have a rest (including with children)?

Planning a vacation in Montenegro, keep in mind that housing here you will be a little cheaper. Also in hotels and travel agencies in Montenegro there is a Russian-speaking staff, and this removes the language barrier. In addition, most of the population here profess Orthodoxy, and tourists are happy to visit local churches.

If you are a great connoisseur of beach rest, be sure to go to Montenegro. A pleasant warm climate and turquoise water will be a pleasant surprise, and sand or pebbles contrast sharply with the stony beaches of the neighboring state of Croatia (although at the same time the Croatian coast is cleaner and not so crowded with people).

As for active night rest, there are numerous cafes, restaurants, bars and discos for every taste in Montenegro and in Croatia.

At the same time, the beautiful nature of this land will not leave anyone indifferent. If you were not in any of these countries, it makes sense to assess the charm of each of them. For example, it is convenient to go to Croatia and Montenegro as part of one express tour: so you will have an opportunity to compare your own impressions of visiting these resorts.
