Zoos of Norway

The northern country of Norway is washed by the Atlantic Ocean, and its numerous mountains are covered with magnificent forests - these are excellent conditions for the life of various animals, not to mention the marine inhabitants that live near the coast of Norway.

What are zoos in Norway?

There are several zoos in the country that will show the tourists to the representatives of the wildlife not only of Norway, but of the entire Northern Europe:

In "Polar Zoo" animals are in a natural habitat, and some of them are socialized and freely go in contact with visitors. Therefore, the Polar Zoo is a great place to watch the life of wild animals from a safe distance: deer, foxes, bears, wolves, moose, musk oxen and others.
  2. Kristiansand Park. This is a zoo, which is made in the form of the fairy town of Cardamon. He is compared to Disneyland. In the zoo live turtles, ostriches, lemurs, ducks, peacocks, mongooses and many other animals. Many freely walk through the territory and are ready to communicate with tourists, and large animals are in spacious enclosures.

Aquariums of Norway

Oceanariums and aquariums, where you can see the inhabitants of the northern seas, are no less interesting:

These funny animals raise the mood for children and adults. In the Aquarium there is a museum where films about the life of underwater animals are shown, as well as the role of the ocean in human life.
