Crafts from triangular modules

Origami - the ancient art of creating figurines by folding paper. Do in the technique of origami, you can both flat and three-dimensional things. Crafts from triangular modules are interesting. Modules are the same elements that are composed of small pieces of paper. Then these modules, nested inside each other, create beautiful three-dimensional figures. We suggest you make crafts from triangular modules for beginners.

Paper craft: triangular modules

Let's start with creating triangular modules. A sheet of A4 paper must be cut into 16 identical rectangles with sides 53x74 mm. Bending the rectangle in half along the length, it is then again bent in half in width and unbend. After that, the edge of the paper is fed to the fold line. Then the module is turned over, and at the bottom edges the corners are folded to the triangle. It remains only to completely bend the bottom edge of the top to the triangle and fold the module in half. As a result, each module has two corners and two pockets, with which they are attached to each other. Usually the corners of one module are inserted into the pockets of the other.

Crafts from triangular modules - vase

Elegant vase will come from 706 white, 150 red, 270 lilac and 90 yellow triangular modules. Assemble will be assembled by putting modules on top of each other.

So, you will need to collect the vase according to the scheme given.

  1. The bottom part of the craft consists of 18 rows, each of which has 48 triangular modules in a certain order, thanks to which a diamond pattern is created. Modules of one series are connected to the modules of the following way: two adjacent corners of two modules are inserted into the pockets of the third one. The next two modules are attached the same way, and so on. After the rows are connected in a ring.
  2. When adding rows, the craft will bend up and inward.
  3. Then you can start decorating the neck of the vase. It has the shape of a cylinder and is made of white modules according to the scheme.
  4. The neck of the vase consists of 13 rows, where the first is made of 24 modules. At the end of the assembly, this part should be given a curved shape. The top of the neck needs to be shaped around the modules, inserting both corners of the module into the pockets of the next. The circle is glued.
  5. At the end of the work on the lower part of the neck of the vase, apply a little glue and gently attach to the bottom.
Crafts from triangular modules: a swan

The original and rainbow swan is obtained from 500 triangular modules of different colors.

  1. We begin the assembly by creating the first two rows. For this, the corners of two triangular modules are inserted into the pockets of the third.
  2. After that, we take the fifth module, we adjoin it to the side of the second module, fix the obtained by the fifth module.
  3. Next, repeat the action until in each row will not get 30 modules. We close them in a ring.
  4. The next three rows are added on top of the second, only in staggered order.
  5. Slowly and carefully turn the workpiece inside out. It should resemble a mug in shape.
  6. We collect 6 rows of 30 modules.
  7. Then in the basis we choose the place for the head of the swan - two modules of the 6 rows. To the left and to the right of them we build 12 modules.
  8. This will be the 7th row, on which we form the wings. Each successive series should be shortened to 2 modules.
  9. Each wing should have 12 rows.
  10. The tail builds similarly - for five rows, the first consists of five modules.
  11. The swan's neck is assembled by inserting both corners of one module into the pockets of the other.
  12. In the course of work, we form a graceful bend.
  13. Similarly, we collect two rings to support the figure.
  14. It remains to attach all elements of the craft of origami from triangular modules.
