Many real owners are wondering whether it is possible to design and make home furniture of an average level of complexity. Of course, it will not be easy to produce cabinets, tables or tables for a beginner from real wood . In addition to special skills, special machines and a lot of space in the garage or workshop are needed here, which not everyone can afford in urban conditions. But much easier to decide how to make a dressing table with their own hands, if you collect it not from wood, but from a more accessible and easy-to-use chipboard. The fittings are easily bought in the building supermarket and even the cutting of the sheets can be ordered from the seller, if purchased at specialized enterprises. You will only be designing furniture, drilling, cutting small pieces and assembling it.
How to make a dressing table by yourself?
- Simulation of the future product is very convenient to produce on the program 3ds Max. If you are not very familiar with programming, then you can make unpretentious sketches on paper.
- Particleboard we take wenge colors, but if you are not comfortable with dark furniture, buy material of any other shade for yourself. We advise you to immediately paste on the sheets the edge of PVC.
- We make the marking of the ends of the parts with the help of a previously prepared template.
- Mark the mating holes.
- The template allows you to mark the center of the future hole without a tape measure. We have blanks 100 mm wide, and from the edge it is necessary to retreat 8 mm.
- Similarly, we mark out the remaining details.
- With a hammer and a sharp object, we make the coring in the center of the hole.
- It is most convenient and accurate to drill a sheet on a vertical machine, but in its absence, an ordinary drill is also suitable.
- The holes are ready, the first part of the task of producing a dressing table by our own hands is completed.
- According to the sizes, we proceed to assembling the boxes. The general view of the drawing shows that we will have 6 small boxes and one large drawout.
