The Chinese couple Wang Day, 98, and Chao Yuhua, 97, played a wedding in a picturesque park in Chongqing 70 years ago. After living a long and happy life, they decided to walk to the places where everything had once started.
"They have been together for so long, survived the war and political instability, overcome illnesses and live the soul in the soul, in love and harmony. We want to help them to celebrate the anniversary with dignity, "the younger son of the jubilee said in an interview with CNN.
They were married in 1945, and 70 years later their children organized a magnificent celebration for them to mark the years spent together. Together with four children, Wang Day and Chao Yuhua reproduced photos of 70 years ago when they were just married.
"My father invited my mother to dance and they immediately fell in love with each other, at first sight. That's how they met, "- says their youngest son.
"They lived through difficult times, they were separated by war, but they always loved each other."
"This year, parents are 98, they have already forgotten much, but love poems that they wrote to each other during the war, can still be read as a keepsake."
