Identification of personality

Identification of a person in psychology is usually regarded as an internal connection of a person with some external factors, situations in relation to himself. This process is unconscious. The person completely does not notice, as there is an identification of itself with other object or any value. In a moment, after a while, a person realizes that he is investing himself in something that was not part of his "I".

The essence of the process of identification

Let us consider an example when an individual is identified with another person. For example, when viewing a movie, the person, without noticing it, identifies himself, to some hero, periodically experiencing for him, and sometimes upset. Identifying yourself with your own body, with thoughts and feelings, another character, for example, can occur during sleep. A sleeping person takes all events in a dream at face value, he is genuinely happy or feels sad. And, waking up, he can feel incomprehensible joy or sorrow.

So, the concept of identification of a person can also be found in operational-search activity. The technique of identification consists in the sequential establishment of a certain person's identity in a person using a fingerprint file or in the footsteps that were found at the scene of the incident.

Also, since some religions do not recognize any documents (identification code, passport of a citizen of any state, etc.), representatives of this religious doctrine exchange their passports for obtaining a special document called "evidence of identity identification". Some Orthodox Christians, according to their convictions, have only such a document, confirming their identity. It is issued by a notary.

So, identity is a multi-faceted concept. His interpretation depends on various factors, situations and the field of study.
