Creating a kitchen furniture kit with your own hands
To make a kitchen you will need:
- furniture boards;
- doors;
- plywood;
- boards;
- screwdriver;
- grinding machine;
- self-tapping screws of different lengths;
- drill;
- hacksaw;
- accessories;
- wax, lacquer, stain.
- After drawing up the drawing and calculating the size of the cabinets, the furniture boards are purchased. They are recommended to be sanded immediately using a grinder.
- Connections of cabinets occur as follows. From each edge a point is set for installing the furniture screw. It makes a hole depth of 5 mm. It should be exactly in the middle of the thickness of the perpendicular adjacent board.
- A screw is screwed into this hole with a drill from one side of the frame. If the joint length is large, then more screws can be used, so the construction will become stronger.
- Thus, a frame is made for a long curtain shelf.
- Two transverse boards are installed in this frame. So in this headset will be the top three sections. Two with twin swing doors, and one with a single leaf.

A hole is made in the countertop, the chop is inserted into the side of the curbstone. The working surface is mounted on it. Thus, it will hold tight, and it can be removed if necessary.
- In the upper part of the table, two horizontal crossbars are fixed and a partition in the middle for mounting a pair of drawers.
- There is a frame for two drawers.
- The facade for the boxes is glued separately from the boards.
- Boxes with guiding mechanisms are attached to the table.
- Cut and fasten the facades to the boxes.
- The handles on all doors are fixed. Similarly, a washing cabinet is assembled. Instead of a countertop, it has a sink that connects to drains and water pipes. To give the furniture an attractive appearance, the top and doors are covered with wax and several layers of varnish. Inside the suite is painted with stain.
