The plant of the genus of the motherwort includes about 20 species, but only two of them folk medicine considers medicinal. This bedclothes are tenacious and a crane. The latter is better known to folk healers and was used by healers of Ancient Greece. And the medicinal properties of the bedstraw are tenacious, in spite of the fact that this plant is more common, not all folk healers know.
Healing properties and contraindications
The stems of the first lady contain such useful substances as saponins, carotenes, glycoside asperuloside, essential oils, iridoids, rubber, coumarins, dyes and tannins, ascorbic and gallotanic acids, tannin, flavonoids. In addition, the composition of the stems include various trace elements. The rhizome roots also contain flavonoids, ascorbic acid, iridoids, tannins, coumarin and steroid saponins. This composition of the plant makes it effective in fighting various diseases. The most important property of the lady's bed is the fight against malignant tumors.
Contraindication to the use of a lady's bed is diabetes, pregnancy and lactation.

The lady-in-law is used in folk medicine for the treatment of such diseases:
- diseases of the respiratory system: bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis , prolonged cough;
- diseases of the digestive system and liver;
- delayed metabolism;
- cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, atherosclerosis;
- gynecological diseases: cervical erosion, leucorrhoea, painful periods;
- inflammation of the urinary tract and kidneys;
- skin diseases: eczema, ulcers, acne, wounds, burns.
The healing properties of the grass of the tenacious primal
The crane is used as an aid in the treatment of such diseases:
- angina, pharyngitis;
- violation of the menstrual cycle;
- pneumonia, tuberculosis;
- scrofula;
- jaundice;
- lymphoma, neuroblastoma, duodenal cancer, breast cancer;
- stomach ulcer;
- rheumatism;

- as a preventive agent in the case of cardiac diseases;
