At seed multiplication seeds must first be soaked in warm water (40-45 degrees) for two days. Before the beginning of sowing it is necessary to dry them thoroughly.
Prepared seeds are planted in pots in early April or before winter. In this case, they are deepened to a distance of not more than 1.5 cm. After about 20-25 days, the first shoots should appear. The same seedlings are grown for 60-70 days.

For the formation of a good root system, the lover is periodically removed by peduncles, preventing them from climbing in this way. However, many flowers should not be cut off. It is enough to leave two or three peduncles to attract golden eyed larvae and other insects that help to fight plant pests.
Care of the plant is as follows:
- constant loosening of the soil;
- weed removal;
- abundant watering in the dry season;
- introduction of fertilizing in the spring: for this purpose, mineral fertilizers, fermented mullein, bird droppings;
