Magical Creatures

Magic or mythology?

In different cultures, religions and mythologies, there existed and existed at the present time a historically formed conception of magical beings, it seems, one should not confuse them with mythical beings, although it is impossible to define unambiguously here. Perhaps, to magical it is possible to attribute any represented beings, which, one way or another, correspond with magical actions. In any case, we can confidently say that we are talking about beings represented by man, and not existing in the world of material objects. If someone thinks differently, let him try to find at least the biological-morphological descriptions of these creatures (or their formalized carcasses or parts of bodies).

On the types of magical creatures

All independent mythologies and polytheistic religions had ideas about magical and mythical beings, made up various lists and classifications of these. They included represented zoomorphic (semi-animal) and teramorphic (that is, with signs of various deformities). Almost all Egyptian gods, some titans of ancient, Chinese, Indian and other mythologies have similar features. In paganism, in monotheistic religions and some other modern beliefs, there are perceptions of angels, various disembodied spirits, energetic beings, which can be referred to as zoomorphic, and to terramorphic, and to anthropomorphic notions. Thus, we can argue that even developed monotheistic modern religions are, in some way, syncretic.

In different cultures and historically developed systems of representations, some really existing animals are also considered in some sense magical creatures, for example, cats (not only black ones). About cats they think that they exist in two worlds at once. Also, mythical creatures in European representations consider black dogs, crows, black hens and some other animals of black color. Black color according to the views of Europeans is associated with death, that is, a transition to another world.

To cause or not to cause?

Shamans, people who consider themselves witches, sorcerers and psychics , can try to call forth the represented magical beings, as those in which they sincerely believe, and those in whom they do not believe. In other words, many so-called "experts" in the dubious space of magic and extrasensory perception are just charlatans. And of those who sincerely believe in what they are doing, not everyone can really do anything, except to "powder their brains" with some degree of dexterity and grace. We should not, however, think that all the statements about the magical beings are nonsense and "bullshit". After all, the images of these creatures refer to the stable ideas that people have developed, and often refer to the collective unconscious or to the subconscious (and these are the mental departments of every reasonable person).

So, do not try to call magical creatures (it will be necessary - they will appear themselves). And if such a meeting took place, be extremely careful. Maybe you should even consult a well-educated psychologist or psychiatrist (depending on the degree of reality of the event) or just wait for the dawn.
