Any of the mosques can claim the title of the most beautiful building in the city. Many of them were rebuilt from churches, some are now only monuments of architecture and history.

The blue mosque of Istanbul in Turkey is also known as the mosque of Sultan Ahmet. The building is located exactly opposite Aya Sofia. Architects in the construction of the windows arranged in such a way that the huge inner hall is always flooded with light, and the name of the mosque was received thanks to the interior in blue tones. The Sultanahmet mosque in Istanbul stands out among other similar buildings and the number of minaret: there are already six of them.
