History of the museum

The chocolate museum appeared in Bruges, not only because it was the Belgian Johann Neuhaus, who worked on the cough recipe, created bitter chocolate. The museum also houses a rather impressive library, which contains truly unique books about cocoa, chocolate and various products from it. How to get there?

The Chocolate Museum in Bruges is located in the amazing medieval castle of the Crown (Huis de Croon), whose construction dates back to 1480. A large four-story building of the castle stands in the central part of the city, near the Burg square. It is most convenient to get there by car or by public transport , which follows the city center (look for the name Brugge Centrum). The interval of movement of such buses is only 10 minutes. You should leave at the stop Central Market (another name is Belfort), from it to the museum is only 300 meters.
