Parquet floor, and even more so - from solid wood, the most environmentally friendly and safe option for the whole family. The return to wood and natural today presupposes a modern approach and application of new technologies.
Methods of laying parquet
There are several types of laying of the parquet: the herringbone (straight and diagonal), with the deflection (symmetrical, chaotic and diagonal), squares (using different types of wood), braided (straight and diagonal), with a frieze that surrounds the perimeter of the parquet flooring.
As for the methods of laying the parquet, experts identify a few:
- lag laying;
- floating laying;
- laying on the wooden floor with the help of nails;
- gluing of parquet on the basis.
Parquet laying on the floor - master class
For work we need such materials and tools:
- glue for a massive board;
- Screed;
- dowels and self-tapping screws;
- plywood;
- massive board;
- level, measuring tape;
- pencil;
- joiner's corner;
- spatulas - normal and notched;
- Circular Saw;
- Grinder;
- screwdriver;
- a vacuum cleaner;
- pneumosteplexer;
- a hammer.
The difference between a massive board and a parquet is that the solid board is completely natural and solid wood. It has increased thickness, due to which it can withstand more biting cycles. On the perimeter of the board have grooves and protrusions to connect with each other. If you correctly lay the parquet from a massive board, you can forget about the problem of the sexes for a long time.
Before beginning the work on laying the parquet, you need to finish all the wet works in the room. The floor must be prepared in advance. First, it is leveled with a screed and very well dried. This process can take up to three weeks, so be patient. However, this is a prerequisite, since even a small amount of moisture can ruin your beautiful sex.
In our master class we will consider laying a massive wooden parquet by gluing to a previously prepared floor surface. As a basis, we will have plywood slabs. It is desirable that they are moisture resistant and dense, with a thickness of at least 15 mm.
The plywood cut into 4 parts must be laid flat on the floor, that is, with small (3-5 mm) gaps. Fixing sheets need screws with dowels, you can additionally glue the plywood to the screed. After laying, the substrate should be ground and thoroughly vacuumed.

Directly laying the parquet starts from the wall, leaving a gap of 5-10 mm along it.
The first row of parquet is laid without glue, and the grooves are connected as on a laminate.
The last board can be cut if necessary.

It is recommended that the first few rows of parquet should be laid without glue, laying the second row at a third of the board. Remember that after laying the parquet floor can not be shifted like a laminate , so periodically check the flatness of the laying with the help of level and roulette.
In advance, mark the rows of parquet with a small template on the floor.

Use two-component anhydrous glue for gluing a massive board. Do not use glue on a water basis, as this will inevitably lead to deformation of the floors.
Apply glue first with a conventional spatula, and then level it with a serrated sponge. Do not apply too much glue.

Each subsequent series, do not forget to punch with a hammer and a wooden workpiece.
For more reliable fixing of boards, it is possible to use a pneumostepler. You can also tie them with small screws or nail them. Screw screws into the ridge at an angle of 40-60ยบ.
So lay out each successive series until you finish. Be sure to completely dry the floor. In the end, you should get about such a picture of sex.
