How to sew a pear chair yourself?
- We will need the following materials:
- inexpensive fabric for the inner bag - satin, mattress textiles, other materials. The size of the fabric depends on what kind of furniture you will create. For a pear chair with a height of twenty meters and a diameter of about a meter, a strip of material 2.5 m long and 1.2 m wide is needed;
- fabric for an outer bag. Will go artificial leather, jacquard, velor, flock or other material. It is clear that it should be durable, better quality than the lining, and a beautiful appearance. Flock, for example, does not burn out, soft, water-repellent and perfectly suited for children's furniture;
- you need two zippers up to 100 cm long, which sometimes replace the outer bag with Velcro. The hole on the inner product is needed in order to pour the filler through it;
- pencil and paper for the pattern;
- Scissors, yarn, sewing machine and other sewing devices;
- To make a good pear armchair with your own hands, you need a filler. Eco-friendly hay and straw are afraid of moisture, and they will often have to be changed. It is better to buy beads polystyrene. 200-300 liters of such a loose substance weigh up to only two kilograms.
