  5. The upper part of the workpiece fold in half, and then bend upward, as shown in the figure.
  6. Fold the corners of the resulting blank.
  7. Expand the shape and along the outlined lines fold to the center of the edge of the upper part of the workpiece.
  8. Turn over the shape. A steamer made of paper is ready! To make it look even nicer, you can draw portholes, and paint the ship. Such a paper boat can serve as a beautiful application for a greeting card made by your child.

Option 2

Now let's see how to fold a volumetric steamer from a paper:

  1. Place a square piece of paper in front of you and bend all its four corners to the center. Turn over the shape.
  2. Repeat the process by folding all four corners again to the center of the workpiece. Turn over the shape.
  3. And again, bend all four corners to the center. Turn over the shape.
  4. Open the bottom pocket of the resulting square, as shown in the diagram, creating a pipe for our future steamer.
  5. Repeat the same steps for the pocket opposite to the one already opened.
  6. Now start bending the workpiece by folding the two remaining pockets in half, which form the nose and stern of the vessel.
  7. A voluminous steamship made of paper, made by own hands is ready. Now you can paint it and draw the missing details. Such a paper boat, made with your baby, will be a wonderful gift to the pope or grandfather.
