Instructions
The conventions used in the master-class diagrams can be deciphered using this figure.
Option 1
Such a paper boat is a classic origami figure.
Progress:
- Place a sheet of paper in front of you and mark the horizontal and vertical center lines.
- Bend the bottom half of the sheet in half and turn the work over.
- The edges of the resulting figure, fold to the central vertical line.
- Open the corners of the lower part of the figure, thus creating the side of our steamship from paper in the origami technique.
- The upper part of the workpiece fold in half, and then bend upward, as shown in the figure.
- Fold the corners of the resulting blank.
- Expand the shape and along the outlined lines fold to the center of the edge of the upper part of the workpiece.
- Turn over the shape. A steamer made of paper is ready! To make it look even nicer, you can draw portholes, and paint the ship. Such a paper boat can serve as a beautiful application for a greeting card made by your child.
Option 2
Now let's see how to fold a volumetric steamer from a paper:
- Place a square piece of paper in front of you and bend all its four corners to the center. Turn over the shape.
- Repeat the process by folding all four corners again to the center of the workpiece. Turn over the shape.
- And again, bend all four corners to the center. Turn over the shape.
- Open the bottom pocket of the resulting square, as shown in the diagram, creating a pipe for our future steamer.
- Repeat the same steps for the pocket opposite to the one already opened.
- Now start bending the workpiece by folding the two remaining pockets in half, which form the nose and stern of the vessel.
- A voluminous steamship made of paper, made by own hands is ready. Now you can paint it and draw the missing details. Such a paper boat, made with your baby, will be a wonderful gift to the pope or grandfather.
