Popular nowadays trees of happiness - topiary are a wonderful decoration of a house or office space. There are plenty of options for decorating a happy tree. This master class will introduce you to the techniques of making topiary from beads. Even a child-schoolboy will be able to make a tree of happiness out of beads.
You will need:
- polystyrene ball with a diameter of 10 cm;
- a wooden stick 50 cm high;
- white satin ribbon 7 mm wide;
- red satin ribbon 3 mm wide;
- garland of brilliant beads 6 m long;
- glue gun;
- Double-sided tape;
- sponge-oasis;
- pots;
- bright monophonic organza;
- Tissue paper of the same color as the fabric.
Let's start to manufacture:
- We begin making a topiary made from beads with glueing the stick with a double-sided adhesive tape along the entire length. Then wrap it in the beginning with a white satin ribbon, on top with a red ribbon, to get the effect of a "Christmas" candy. We fix the tape to the end of the stick with a drop of glue. The lower part of the stick-rod is placed in an oasis. If the pot is wider than an oasis, wrap it in tissue paper, thus ensuring a tight fit.
- We make a hole in a polystyrene ball, drip a drop of glue, put it on the upper part of the stick.
- On the top surface of the ball, drip a drop of glue and apply sequentially beads from the garland, for a few seconds pressing each bead. Crown gradually the whole ball.
- The density of the beads is chosen by yourself: with a frequent arrangement, the white color of the base is almost invisible, at rare - ironing the white surface of the ball.
- We take the organza, at one end we tie the knot. We glue the knot on the oasis next to the stick, tightly pressing it. Drip droplets of glue in some parts of the oasis, and by twisting the fabric, we have a drape on the oasis.
