How to make lizuna from water with starch and glue?

So, there are two basic ways of how to make a water-based lizard. Let's consider the first of them.

  1. Pour 350 ml of water into a small saucepan and put on a plate. Your task is to warm the water a little to a warm state, but do not boil it, otherwise it will be too hot, and then you will not be able to knead mass with your hands.
  2. Transfer the water to another container. Add a few drops of food coloring there or else dissolve in water dry. Since the cartoon lick is green, we will do the same. The color of the water should be slightly darker than the result should be a toy, since with the addition of starch it will become less saturated.
  3. Now you need to take 140 g of corn starch (this is the same as cornmeal) and pour into a large bowl, in which it will be convenient for you to knead.
  4. Step by step, in small portions pour in there the color of the dye, previously dyed. Simultaneously, grind your fingers with starch and water, so that it gradually turns into a thick paste.
  5. Adjust the viscosity of the mass by adding water or starch. If the mass is not thick enough - add a little more cornstarch, and if too hard - top up the water. As a result, you should get relatively dry to the touch, but a thick and sticky lizun.
  6. In the finished lizuna, you can add various plastic figures, but this is completely optional.
  7. Keep the toy tightly wrapped in cellophane. At night, always put the lime in the refrigerator.

Preparation of lizuna with water and polyvinyl alcohol

  1. In a bowl that is applicable to use in a microwave oven, mix a glass of water with 5 g of polyvinyl alcohol as a dry powder. It can be replaced with sodium borax powder (it is sold in any pharmacy) or conventional liquid PVA glue.
  2. Add food coloring - this time the color will remain the same, so do not make it darker. It is desirable to use the food color, if small children will play with the lizun.
  3. Stir the mixture well and put it in the microwave. It should be heated for 5 minutes in a high temperature mode. Know that while the mixture is liquid, it can "run away" - look after the process to prevent this.
  4. Remove the container from the oven and allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes.
  5. Then put it back and repeat the procedure described in paragraphs 10-11. Make from 3 to 6 such approaches, with each of which the lizun will become more dense. Having achieved the desired consistency, leave the toy until completely cooled inside the oven.
  6. When the lickoon has cooled to room temperature, it can be picked up and used for games.

As you can see, it was quite easy to make lice from simple water at home and a couple of additional ingredients.
