Today we are preparing stewed cabbage with meat. The dish is delicious, useful, and it can be prepared all year round. In addition, you can extinguish both fresh and sauerkraut, and some like stewed cauliflower .
Fresh stewed cabbage with meat
Ingredients:
- white cabbage - 600 g;
- onions (large) - 1 piece;
- tomato puree - 200 g;
- meat (pork) - 400 g;
- vegetable oil - 50 ml;
- salt, pepper - to taste.

Preparation of stewed cabbage with meat begins with the fact that pork is cut into cubes. On vegetable oil fry onion cut into half rings, when it is lightly browned, add the meat and fry until it is half cooked. Shink the cabbage and put it in the frying pan to the meat. Add salt to taste and simmer on small fire under the lid for 20 minutes. Add tomato puree, black pepper to taste, stir and simmer for another 5 minutes. Tasty stewed cabbage with meat is ready.
Sauerkraut stewed with meat
Ingredients:
- sauerkraut - 800 g;
- pork - 300 g;
- onion - 100 g;
- vegetable oil - 40 g;
- sugar, salt, black ground pepper - to taste.
Preparation
With sauerkraut squeeze the excess liquid. We chop the meat into pieces. In a deep frying pan, we warm up the vegetable oil, fry the onion and meat in it until a crust is formed. Salt and pepper add to taste. Add the cabbage to the pan and, stirring, stew for about 15 minutes. After that, add sugar to taste. Now cover the frying pan with a lid and stew for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Sour cabbage, stewed with meat ready, you can serve to the table. As a garnish the mashed potatoes are perfect.
Stewed cauliflower with meat
Ingredients:
- cabbage color - 0.5 kg;
- meat - 0,5 kg;
- onion - 1 piece;
- sour cream - 200 g;
- vegetable oil for frying;
- salt, spices - to taste.
Preparation
Cut the meat into small pieces, divide the cabbage into inflorescences, if they are too large, you can cut them into several pieces. Pour into the frying pan vegetable oil, put the meat in it and stew until half cooked, then add the chopped onion, lightly fry and spread the cauliflower. All is well mixed, add sour cream, about 30 ml of water and stew under the closed lid for 10-15 minutes. In the end, add salt and spices to taste and mix again.
Stewed cabbage with chicken meat
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 500 g;
- onion - 2 pieces;
- carrots (large) - 1 piece;
- sauerkraut - 300 g;
- fresh cabbage - 500 g;
- tomato paste - 3 tbsp. spoons;
- odorless vegetable oil - 80 ml;
- bay leaf, pepper, salt - to taste.
Preparation
In a large deep frying pan or sauté pan, pour in the vegetable oil, let it warm up well, then spread the chopped onion, fry for about 3 minutes, then add the grated carrots, fry for another 5 minutes. Now spread the chicken fillet, sliced. Fry all together for another 5-7 minutes.
As you can see, it is not difficult to cook stewed cabbage with meat. Everything is absolutely simple and affordable. But we advise you to pay attention to this point: if fresh cabbage is bitter, then it should be boiled for 2-3 minutes beforehand. Due to this, firstly, the bitterness will go away, and secondly, the cabbage will not shrink so much.
