The technique involves coating glass balls in several layers with appropriate colored varnishes, and then they are immersed in an oil solution from fish scales and a special mass. Balls themselves are made from tempered glass with a high density and specific gravity, and a careful unique coating creates the illusion of a natural material. What exactly is a part is the secret of the company "Majorica".

The next step is drying and polishing, after which the balls are again immersed in a special solution. And so it repeats thirty times. Then follows the final drying and polishing, this step is always carried out manually to remove the imperfections of the coating and provide an ideal shape. The production of beautiful artificial pearls in Mallorca lasts several weeks.

To ensure the stability of the product, then subjected to treatment with special gases that make them resistant to discoloration, destruction and peeling. Many operations in the factory are carried out manually, under strict control.
