Rabbit manure as a fertilizer

To cultivate rabbits means to have valuable dietary meat and warm fur. But this is not all that rabbit breeding gives. Experienced gardeners recommend using rabbit manure as a fertilizer.

Can I use rabbit manure as a fertilizer?

In fact, it is not only possible to use rabbit manure on beds, but it is also necessary. This unique fertilizer differs from the usual cow or equine balanced content of nitrogen, potassium, magnesium, and also phosphoric acid. Moreover, the content of these substances is much higher than in the previously mentioned types of manure.

Another strong point of rabbit manure application can be considered the complete absence of green seeds, which was eaten by a domestic animal. This means that on your beds you can not be afraid of the appearance of a thick carpet of weeds.

And that's not it. If we talk about what else is useful rabbit manure, it is worth pointing out that, gardeners who used rabbit dung, noted that the soil was becoming friable and softened.

How to use rabbit manure?

Most often, properly prepared rabbit litter is used for the following actions:

It should be noted that rabbit litter is not used in clean fresh form. Containing in its composition urea, ammonia and acids will lead to the death of your plants. Use well-bred droppings in a dry or liquid form.

In liquid form, rabbit dung is an excellent fertilizer for beds. Such liquid top dressing is prepared as follows: one kilogram of litter is poured into 10 liters of water, thoroughly mixed and insisted for 24 hours. For each square meter, you can apply 1.5-2 liters of additional fertilizing, not more. Be careful not to overdo it, so as not to burn tomatoes or cucumbers.

If you are afraid to damage the beds, it makes sense to think about whether rabbit manure can be used for digging. The overripe manure is dried and ground to a powder. After that, it is scattered on the surface of the earth at a rate of approximately 100 g per square meter.

Florists use dry "balls" as a top dressing of home colors. One such "ball" is poured into 1.5-2 liters of water and insisted for 24 hours. For irrigation, the resulting solution is diluted 1:10 and watered without danger.
