Rochefort Abbey

Inside the monastery

The Rochefort Abbey was built in the distant 1230 and that is why it is listed in the UNESCO Great Heritage List. The most notable event, which still brings the glory of the abbey to the whole country, was the opening in its walls of the brewery (1899). Beer, which produces the plant, is very popular with local residents and is labeled with the same name Rochefort.
