It is better to prepare a snowman's costume for a child from fleece: firstly, this fabric is very light, warm enough, looks very beautiful, and secondly, it is very convenient to work with.
For the costume we need: white fleece, black fleece for buttons and hats, foam rubber, red and green fleece for scarf, white floss, white and black threads.
1. On the given pattern it is necessary to prepare details of a suit from a white fleece. For now, we cook only the overalls, without a hat.
On the necessary dimensions we cut out the parts and cut them out taking into account the allowance at the seams:
2. Now you need to sweep away all the stitches. First join the side seams, then - the inner, step. It is better to throw not a white, but a contrasting thread, so that later you can easily remove it after processing the line with a typewriter.

4. We also process shoulder seams. Overlocked internal seams can not be processed, since fleece does not crumble at the places of the cut tissue.
5. Now we need to sew a zipper in the suit. To lightning was not visible from the front side, it is detached with an indent from the edge of the fabric at the width of the foot:

11. We process the neck. For this we need a slanting bake. It can be cut from the same fleece. The length of the beak is equal to the length of the head circumference, width - 6-7 cm, angle of inclination - 45 degrees.

For this we need to measure the circumference of the child's head. The head circumference is the value L. The formula r = L / 2π allows to calculate the inner radius of the hat, and the outer radius is calculated by the formula R = r + 7 (this is the width of the fields) in cm.
We calculate both indicators and on their basis we build a pattern: from one center we notice the radius of the inner and outer circle:
21. For the cylinder of the hat, we cut out a rectangle. The length of the cylinder is equal to the length of the circumference of the child's head, the height is arbitrary (we took 15 cm).
22. We cut out all details from foam rubber, without any increase:
23. Details of fleece will need two for each piece of foam rubber, as foam rubber serves as a filling for the hat, the same as in the buttons. And for details of fleece, we make small indentations, about 1 cm from each side:
24. Now we trim each part in the same way as we sew a button.
25. The finished parts are sewn with a hidden seam. The hat is ready:
