So, what do we need? Of course - multi-colored satin ribbons. These ribbons should be of small width and different, better contrast, colors. In our case, for weaving bookmarks, we took two ribbons - white and checkered.
Fold the ribbons on each other and bind them together with a knot, leaving a tail of 4-5 cm in length.
The knot should be tightened tight enough so that the ribbons do not untie with time and our bookmark does not open.
We begin to weave the bookmark. To do this, we form a loop from one tape (in this case, from a checkered one).
We wrap the base of the checkered loop with a white tape twice.
Now, you need to fix the loop and the winding at its base with your fingers. Tapes should be wound tight enough that our bookmark should be neat.
The next step is to form a loop of white tape.
We draw a loop from a white tape into a loop of checkered.
While holding the ends of the tape with your fingers, tighten the loop from the checkered tape.
In the end we get this pigtail.

Another way to make a bookmark for a book from satin ribbons is even easier, and the result is even more impressive.
For work we need multicolored satin ribbons of different widths, brightly painted feathers and beads.
Cut the ribbons into pieces of the desired length. For each tab, we need one piece of tape of each width.
We stack the ribbons on each other on the principle of "pyramid" and fix one end, tying it with a tight knot.
The other end of the tab is decorated with colored feathers and bright beads, gluing them on the bookmark with a glue gun, sewing or stamping with decorative pins.
