Spray Tantum Verde is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicinal preparation of local action, possessing anti-edematous, anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. It is used in the treatment of various infectious and inflammatory diseases of the throat and oral cavity.
Composition and application of Tantoum Verde spray
The spray is available in 30 ml vials with a dispenser and is a clear liquid with a characteristic smell of mint. The main active ingredient is benzidamine hydrochloride at a concentration of 1.5 milligrams in one milliliter of the drug. One dose (injection) of the drug contains 255 micrograms of active substance, and one bottle contains 176 doses of the drug. Auxiliary substances are:
- ethanol;
- glycerol;
- saccharin;
- sodium bicarbonate;
- methylparahydroxybenzoate;
- flavoring menthol;
- polysorbate 20;
- water.
With topical application, the drug is rapidly absorbed through the mucosa and accumulates in tissues to an effective concentration. The antibacterial effect of the Tantoum Verde spray is due to the fact that the active substance penetrates through the membranes of pathogenic microorganisms and has a destructive effect on their cellular structure.
The drug is used in the treatment of various inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat.
Spray Tantum Verde for the throat
An agent is prescribed for the treatment of sore throats caused by:
- angina;
- laryngitis;
- pharyngitis ;
- tonsillitis.

Adults drug is prescribed for 4-8 doses (injections) every 1.5-3 hours.
