Tourists and local residents of the Altai Territory say that without visiting the Teletskoye Lake and its environs, it is simply impossible to make a full impression of these places. Where is the Teletskoye Lake?
It is located in the north-eastern region of the Altai Mountains, directly on the territory of the Altai Republic. We will go there three ways. And even the depth of Teletskoye Lake (and there is an average of 174 meters) does not prevent nature from creating the illusion of floating in the air: the water freezes and becomes almost transparent, and at night the stars reflect it and it seems that you are flying through the air.
What to see in the vicinity of Teletskoye Lake?
If you do not treat yourself to fans of idle felting on the bed for days on end and want to get maximum emotions, at your service a variety of excursions and attractions of these places.
As a rule, all tourists are offered to make a trip to the Korbu waterfall on the Teletskoye lake. This is not the only waterfall, and there are plenty of such beautiful sources. But it so happened that it was Korbu who won the greatest love of tourists.
Many legends of Teletskoye Lake are connected with valleys and waterfalls. Speaking of valleys. Among the trips, no less popular are the directions to the valley of the Chulyshman River, as well as the observation platforms on the Tilan Tu and Kabitek Mountains.
During the rest on the Teletskoye Lake, be sure to go on a cruise on it. A comfortable motor ship will take you on the lake: there is a buffet, there are special glazed decks for passengers, and a radio excursion is also conducted. Do not want a quiet and safe walk on the water, then your choice is rafting. And of course the famous fishing on the Teletskoye Lake is a real holiday for men. The pike with burbot, taimen and grayling are excellent there.
