The girl with an amputated foot became a ballerina!

Do you have two hands, two legs and 24 hours a day, but every morning you are looking for an excuse and refuse to translate your dream into reality? So maybe the example of this girl will help tomorrow to begin the best changes in life ...

Meet is Gaby Schull. At the age of 9 she was leg amputated due to osteosarcoma (bone cancer), which struck her knee. But even this did not stop the girl in the desire to realize the most cherished dream - to become a ballerina!

After falling on the rink, Gaby was on the couch of the traumatologist. Seeing the X-ray images of the foot, the doctors first suspected the symptoms of a disappointing diagnosis, which was subsequently confirmed.

Is it worth mentioning the long attempts to defeat the disease and the worst experiences, when it became clear - the leg will have to be amputated and on the rainbow plans to put a cross?

But the girl even for a split second did not allow herself to doubt her own strength! Thanks to the new revolutionary surgical technology - rotary, Gaby did not just stand on her feet again, and even tried on pointe shoes!

It turns out that the doctors kept a part of the leg here, which had to be amputated and "reaped" it back, but at an angle of 180 degrees. Thus, the leg could be firmly attached to the prosthesis and allow Gaby to live a full life. But most importantly - the doctors returned the leg in this form (a foot ago), so that Gaby could continue to dance!

As you guessed, at the first opportunity Gaby fled to the dance hall to the machine for the first workout!

Today the 15-year-old dancer wears pointe shoes and swirls in a fouette, captivates spectators with her hip-hop and jazz performances, and also takes part in contests of modern and classical dances on a par with all participants!
