What actors see when they are on stage

Photographer Klaus Fram captured what opens up behind the scenes of theatrical scenes.

The architectural photographer Klaus Fram had an idea to lead people through the "fourth wall", which is between the actors and the audience. For this, he took photographs of the most beautiful theaters in Germany from the perspective of actors watching the auditorium.

As a result, we got amazing views from the stage, which we, the usual spectators, have never seen before.

Klaus Fram points out:

"It's all about the special perspective of the camera, which breaks the usual order and explores the hierarchy of the stage and the audience," says Fram, the master of his craft. "The space intended for the audience becomes flat as a postcard, and the main object of the theater is a stage - it is studied from all sides.

The camera focuses and focuses on the stage and lighting fixtures - on the stage mechanics. So we find out what is hidden behind the red velvet curtain. The contrast between the mechanics of the backstage and the velvet sea of the seas is delighted! "
