There was a day when I also went to the clinic with an overdose. I remembered it for the rest of my life. It was 1985, on the 23rd of February. Then I was lucky, and I was pumped. My doctor, when he came to me, said that if the doctors arrived half an hour later, I would die. From these words my whole life swept through my head for a second. It was then that I gave myself the floor to quit with drugs. After that I went to a therapist for treatment. It was a very difficult time. I still do not understand how I survived it. "
Then Baldwin talked about how he was treated for addiction:
"Now many people will probably find this strange, but my doctor suggested that I get carried away with something. In his opinion, such therapy should have influenced me very well. Then I could not think that I would spend the next two years like hell. From one addiction - drugs, and I smoothly switched to another. I was wildly addicted to video games. My day began at 9 am since I was sitting by the computer and starting to play. And ended at 11 am, when my eyes were already sticking together from fatigue and looking at the monitor. It was the only remedy that helped me forget that I wanted to use drugs. In those 2 years I did not want to see anyone and did not want to talk to anyone. "
