In order to make a soft chair in the form of an egg, you have to prepare yourself with your own hands: newspapers, a fitness ball, flour, salt, plastic pipe, MDF, nuts and studs with a diameter of 16 mm, a nest with a shallow cell. For finishing you need putty, 2-3 cylinders of epoxy white paint and 5-6 cylinders of matte white paint. For finishing, thick fabric, glue-spray, roulette, foam rubber 5 cm will be used. Let's get to work:
- Take a big ball for fitness , at the end of work it will not be possible to use it. Adhesive tape is glued along the contour of the product in such a way that it is displaced from the "equator".
- Next, prepare strips of newspapers 4-5 cm wide. We need the same, even and neat parts.
- Proceed to paste kneading. On 2 glasses of water leaves a glass of flour and a couple of pinch of salt. The consistency is similar to yogurt. Note that every next batch of glue is best done as the previous batch is used.
- The ball will be glued to the newspaper. For convenience, put the ball in the pelvis so that it does not move. On both sides of the paper is applied glue, attach the paper to the ball. The bands run parallel one after the other. The second layer is applied at an angle of 90 degrees to the previous one. The boundary of the coating is indicated by an adhesive tape. These 2 layers should dry for half a day. After this, repeat the procedure of pasting in 2 layers 8-10 times. The more layers, the stronger the frame.
- Making a chair with your own hands continues, you need to prepare a support. A circle of about 50 cm in diameter is cut from the MDF panel.
- In the center of the workpiece, a hole is made equal to the diameter of the nut. The nut is inserted, then the threaded stud is screwed in. In the base area, a plastic pipe is placed. The height of the product is directly proportional to the length of this pipe. Newspapers and scotch will help smooth the sharp transition from MDF to plastic.
- The ball is not pulled out yet, it is necessary to process the papier-mache with putty. On the "egg" and the leg is applied a solution, the final layer - about 4-5 mm. Dry the coating will be a day.
- Now pull the ball out after blowing it off. The inner part of the product is also covered with a layer of putty at least 5-8 mm.

- For painting we use white matte paint in cylinders. Usually 24 hours is enough to completely dry several layers. To fix the result, epoxy paint is applied.

- Before you sew a soft filling of the chair with your own hands, you need to make measurements. It is necessary to prepare triangles according to the dimensions of the furniture. Now prepare the elements that look like petals.
- Triangles are sewn together with "petals", the upholstery of a spherical shape is obtained.
- We sew upholstery. Foam of the prepared form is laid out on a dense fabric, its contour is outlined. On the contour, add about 5 cm. Apply glue to the front part (not on the fabric itself) and press the fabric, from the back, carefully fix the ends.
- On the inside of the chair, glue is applied, padding is laid out, start from the bottom "petal". When you measure the perimeter of the cut part of the product, measure the same amount of rope, which is then wrapped in cloth. This frill is attached around the perimeter of the egg.
