If you decide to present such a sweet surprise, but are afraid that you will not be able to do it, then we will calm you down and tell you how quickly and easily weave beautiful and simple baubles with threads of mulina.

Oblique weaving

One of the most popular types of weave is oblique - it is simple, but at the same time original. Baubles with an oblique pattern can be of two or more colors, performed in bed or bright colors. The most popular combinations are:

The baubles from the mulina with oblique weaving are made quite simply, so you can make a few bracelets of different colors so that you can put on a suitable accessory to each of your shoes.

In order to weave a bright bracelet from a mouline with an oblique weave you will need several strands of thread of different colors, choose them according to your own taste. Note that if you choose 4-6 strands, then the bracelet will be narrow, and if eight-ten - wide.

Step 1 . The length of the threads should be a couple of centimeters longer than the distance from the fingertips to the shoulder. This length will be enough to make a bracelet that would be free on the wrist, but did not fall off the hand.

Step 2 . Tie the threads in a knot and attach them with adhesive tape to a stable surface: a chair, a table, a heavy pillow and so on. Make sure that the threads are well secured by twisting them.

Step 3 . Group the threads into two or three pieces and weave the classic pigtail.

Step 4 . After that, arrange the moulin so that the colors go in the desired order. Tie the rightmost thread next, then the third right - the fourth, and the fifth - the sixth.

Step 5 . After that start to move to the left, in the same way tying the threads. In each direction it is necessary to weave three rows. If you want wider strips, then you need to weave 5-8 rows in one direction.

As a result, you should get a bright bracelet with an oblique pattern.

Straight weaving

Straight weaving looks very original, while quite simple to perform. The main thing is to choose the right thread size. The main thread should be several times shorter than the braid. You can also choose not a monophonic mulina, but with patterns to make the bracelet more interesting. So, in order to weave a bouquet from a mulina with a direct weave, you will need:

Step 1 . Fold the black strands (in our case, the basic ones have this color) in half and tie the knot up, so that the loop is made.

Step 2 . Fix the threads with the help of the resulting loop and thread all 10 threads in the holder.

Step 3 . Take the skein with the braided thread (in our case, the red one) and secure its end near the main ones.

Step 4 . Starting from the left edge, tie the nodules with a red thread on the black, slowly moving to the right.

Step 5 . After you reach the tenth thread, start moving the other way.

Step 6 . When the bracelet reaches the required length, remove the ends of the black thread from the holders, break into three groups and weave the classical pigtail. At the end, tie a firm knot.

Helpful Hints:

  1. The red thread must never be in the holders.
  2. Tighten tight knots and place them tightly on the top knots, so that the bracelet does not lose its shape afterwards - it is deformed or stretched.

After two or three bracelets you will fully master the technique and be able to improvise, creating banners with names , drawings and inscriptions .
