Cultivation of Chinese cabbage pak-choi

There are several ways to cultivate Chinese cabbage in the conditions of the domestic climate. When the first seeds are sown at the end of March in the seedling boxes, and after the establishment of heat, the seedlings are transplanted to a permanent place of residence in the open ground. This way you can get a very early crop of fresh cabbage greens. But this method has a significant disadvantage - the transplantation does not always go smoothly and some of the seedlings die. More efficient is the sowing of seeds directly into the open ground. It is best to plant Pak-choi in late April-early May, when the most favorable conditions develop for the germination of seeds. Secondarily you can sow pack-cho in August. So you can get lush greens. From the planted cabbage in the periods of a long light day, pack-good leaves do not have to wait - it will very quickly go off into the archery. Immediately after sowing, the bed with cabbage should be sprinkled with wood ash to save from damage with a cruciferous flea and cover with polyethylene film. The seedbed for sowing cabbage starts to be prepared in the fall, adding organic fertilizers, superphosphate and lime during digging.
