Cans for canning

No matter how many cans for sunk by the hostess, every year you have to buy a dozen. Many start to think that it is more suitable for the convenience of rolling and safely keep the product until winter. Glass jars for canning are currently presented in three versions and the demand for each of them is approximately the same.

Choosing cans for canning

Almost all available types of glass cans for canning are currently produced in standard sizes. The most common are the one-and-a-half and two-liter. And now we will consider in more detail the work with cans for canning with clamping, screw cap and classic clamping:

  1. All of us since childhood are well familiar cans for canning, which rolled up a tin lid. This requires a good key, and now it is presented in different versions from simple manual, to automatic and semi-automatic. There is only one problem: it is important to carefully roll up the jar and do not damage the glass neck, otherwise the preservation will deteriorate or the jar will have to be thrown away.
  2. Relatively rare are banks with glass lids for canning. Such covers are equipped with a screw clamp, there are also wedges. Under the condition of competent use, cans with glass lids for canning are not less sealed, as the rubber ring securely clogs the product. The technology of canning is extremely simple: after pouring the finished product, the rubber ring is first laid, then with the aid of a clip for canning, we close the cans with the products. You do not have to turn over the packaging after the sterilization is complete.
  3. Recently many mistresses have switched to screw covers. Covers are bought directly under the neck of the can, and sometimes the lids from canned food may well come in handy. This option of canning has only one drawback: although the covers assume repeated use, but they become unusable quickly, because the metal is thin enough. In addition, after repeated use, often such covers are covered with rust. The technology is also simple: after 15 minutes of boiling, cover the jar and send it to sterilize, then you can screw it. The lid is very easily retracted after heating, and when turned over, the contents are not spilled.
