Today I want to propose to make a cover for one of the most important men's albums - Dembelsky. The main thing here is to sustain the style and to refrain from excesses, so in this MC I will describe in detail how to make a scrapbooking cover, that is, creating a "facade", and how to arrange an album inside can be viewed here.

Necessary tools and materials:
- a ready-made album cover (how to do it, you can see it here);
- scrapbooking paper;
- pictures for decoration;
- piece of army belt, chevron, cockade, cloth;
- eyelets, installer of eyelets, brads;
- Glue, ruler, scissors, clerical knife;
- sewing machine.
Performance:
- For the decor of the man's album, you should not take too elaborate ornaments - better use a small amount of materials of a similar style. I took pieces of scrap paper of different sizes (better if there is a picture on the paper on the paper), a small number of pictures (you can buy or print them yourself), as well as a piece of officer's belt, chevron and a badge bought in the military commissariat.
- First of all we will compose the composition. The background can be made from paper, laid out in layers. In this case, you should not hide interesting drawings - they may well become not only part of the decor, but also the central element.
- Then we will supplement the background with more vivid details.
- From the belt cut a small piece (6 - 8 cm) and add the overall picture.
- When you finally decide on the composition, take a picture, so as not to forget and begin to gradually stage the details - from the bottom to the top.
- In order to smoothly sew the strap on the back of the cover, attach it to the already fixed, paste, and then sew.
- A simple belt looks not particularly interesting, so you can sew on it suitable for the case inscription, sew it and add it with the help of the Brades.
- The belt, which will keep the album closed, was originally a hook, but it can not be sewn, so the fastening is designed specifically for the hook. From the fabric, cut out two identical circles and sew together.
- In order to understand where to attach the fastener, we put something of a suitable size in the binding, so that the binding takes the form of the final result. We try on the belt and fasten the bracket, having first installed the eyelet in the center.
- We decorate the belt with the help of a chevron (in my case tank armies). Cut out a circle of cardboard.
- Then glue it to the strap and stitch it.
- Finally, we paste the chevron and fix the cockade. Scrapbooking-album cover, made by own hands, is ready.
Inside, such an album can also be made in the style of scrapbooking, or you can simply paste the pages with scrap paper and place your favorite photos.
