The beauty of children's crafts is that they do not need any special expensive materials or special skills. Children can create from any improvised means, creating interesting hand-made products. Moreover, the child's imagination is not yet clogged with the standards and cliches inherent in adults, therefore their creativity is sometimes very original, surprising many adults. For example, from ordinary unnecessary CDs, such handmade items for children as a cheerful sun, plasticine pictures, coasters for a hot mug, wall panels with images of animals can turn out. Also very popular among toddlers are now fashionable crafts made of disks in the form of smeshariki, fish, birds, etc.
How to make interesting crafts from unnecessary disks?
Original crafts can be made, having at hand only an unnecessary old CD or DVD drive and conventional clay. It is better to use a soft wax plasticine - its colors are brighter and more saturated.
Arrange an evening of family creativity, taking up modeling together on discs. Think of themed disks: the underwater world, flowers, butterflies, birds or any other themes that the child will want to portray. Help him correctly place the plasticine composition on the disc. Such exercises are well developed imagination, hand mechanics, artistic skills, and also teach the child to work in a team.

Children's handmade from the CDs of the sun
- We suggest you make a cheerful sun out of the disk with colored beams.
- Take a sheet of two-sided colored paper in A4 format, bend it along in half and again in half. Cut off the resulting quarter of the sheet.
- Bend this quarter, visually dividing it into long strips. On the fold lines, cut four narrow strips of paper.
- Glue each of them along the edges, giving the strip a droplet shape. This will be our rays.
- You should have four rays of each color. If you take a paper of all colors of the rainbow, you can make a bright rainbow sun, which will help the child remember the names of the flowers. Glue the bases of the rays to the transparent part in the center of the disc, placing them at the same distance from each other.
- Now you need to close the place of gluing. Take another disc (preferably smaller), draw a cheerful face on it and attach it to the center of the sun. Glue it and let it dry properly.
- Such crafts noticeably revitalize the interior of the children's room, if you hang it in a prominent place for one of the upper rays.

Animals on discs
I think everyone will agree that all children love animals. Offer your child to decorate the hare - a hare, a hippopotamus, a lion, a snail or any other beast. To make a muzzle of an animal, take a disk and paste on it the picture drawn on a paper. It can also be a printout from a color printer, a picture cut from a children's magazine, an applique made from multicolored paper or felt. The animal's eyes can be made from buttons (if the basis of the craft is fabric) or paste special "running" eye-stickers. Let the muzzles of animals be as bright and colorful as possible. Lion draw a tail, a snail - horns, a hare - long ears that will extend beyond the boundaries of the disc, giving the crafts extra volume.
