Cupboard cupboard by hand

Today, furniture from chipboard and MDF takes a leading position in the market. The material is relatively inexpensive, due to lamination it is possible to obtain any type of surface, and construction firms easily embody any design ideas. There are no fundamental differences between these two materials, since both are made from sawdust, only of different calibers. Therefore, the principle of manufacturing a wardrobe for clothes made of particleboard and MDF is not particularly different, so that you can safely use some drawings.

How to make a cabinet from chipboard?

  1. The first thing you need to prepare is a drawing of a cabinet type of a coupe made of particle board. On the Internet there are many ready-made computer models, they can also be done manually with the help of special programs. Further on the basis of this model, a drawing of a compartment type of a compartment made of particleboard with all the necessary dimensions is obtained.
  2. We begin to build a skeleton for the cabinet from the chipboard. We mark the future sections on the wall, then we begin gradually to build a skeleton from a bar.
  3. Between ourselves and to the wall we fix the beams with self-tapping screws.
  4. When the frame is ready, you can gradually install shelves .
  5. Section with shelves such as a pencil is pre-assembled. Only then do we install this part in its place.
  6. Next, you need to install partitions between the sections of the cabinet from the chipboard.
  7. The next stage of manufacturing a cabinet made of particleboard by oneself is filling. In our variant it is the central part in the form of a wardrobe: a crossbeam under hangers.
  8. Since we planned to get an economical option, it means that we will make doors from sheets of MDF or chipboard. We give drawings to the furniture company in advance. Fixture can be purchased separately. When fixing it is desirable to work as neatly as possible, so that the workpiece does not crack when screwing the screws. For this purpose, the hole is usually drilled first.
  9. So, the doors are installed, the internal filling is in place. We'll work on the appearance of the doors. If it's just sheets of chipboard, you can use lamination, install mirrors. Working with MDF is much simpler and this material is usually used for the outer part, or rather the doors and other external parts. It's enough just to stick a sheet and you'll get such a completely stylish design. It remains only to screw the handles and everything is ready.
  10. Making a cupboard from the chipboard with your own hands does not imply anything particularly difficult, since all parts can easily be ordered in small furniture shops, fasteners in the range you will find in construction stores.
