A single dose of paracetamol for children
This product is available in various forms - candles, tablets, capsules, suspensions. With suppositories everything is simple - you buy a dosage at the pharmacy that corresponds to the age, and enter the candle 3-4 times a day. But it is most effective to use them at night.
Tablets begin to give to babies, as a rule, after 4-5 years, using children's paracetamol, the dosage of which in one piece is 200 mg.
But the dosage of the drug, of course, depends on the age of the baby. Until three months, paracetamol is not allowed for children,
- from 3 months to 2 years - 80 mg 2-4 times a day (four times a day after a year);
- from 2 to 6 years - 150 mg 2-4 times a day (four with 3 to 4, up to this age no more than three times);
- from 6 to 12 years up to 300 mg per time up to three meals per day.
The maximum daily dose of paracetamol for children
To understand that you did not give your child too much money, you need to summarize the number of milligrams for the whole day. For example, for a child aged from three months to a year, not more than 160 mg (twice a day) is allowed per day, and after a year and up to two years - 240 mg, in three
reception.
Take paracetamol is recommended not more often than 4-6 hours after the previous time, with plenty of water and no matter when the food was taken.
