Every woman, entering the reproductive age, certainly, reflects on the continuation of the family. But, unfortunately, today more and more women can not become pregnant for various reasons. One of these causes is the deformation of the cervix.
The deformed neck of the uterus is an anatomically altered cervix and cervical canal, due to scars formed on the spot.
Causes of cervical deformities
Why does the neck deform? A deformed cervix arises in the following cases:
- postpartum trauma, in which seams were poorly applied and gross scars formed in their place;
- inflammatory fusions;
- operations;
- presence of cysts;
- unsuccessful abortions.
The most common is the deformation of the cervix after delivery due to ruptures. In childbirth, stitches are very often unsuccessfully applied and in their place rough scars are formed. Accordingly, there is a deformation with an open cervical channel, which contributes to getting into the body of all kinds of infections.
Consequences of cervical deformity
Unfortunately, the main consequence of this diagnosis is infertility, because it is almost impossible to conceive and safely endure a child with such a diagnosis.
Diagnosis and treatment of cervical deformities
The deformed neck is diagnosed very easily with the usual gynecological examination.
Usually, as a treatment for a woman, plastic of the cervix is offered. This operation is very simple, it has a therapeutic nature. The main methods of plastic are the use of laser, radio waves, cryodestruction and diathermic methods. The operation is performed 3-6 months after delivery, subject to the end of the lactation period. Rehabilitation lasts a month and a half, and afterwards the woman will again be able to plan pregnancy.
