What are the symptoms of diffuse FAM of the mammary glands?
This disease does not develop suddenly, the symptoms grow gradually. That's why a woman with attention should treat her feelings, the state of the body.
The main signs of diffuse FAM can be attributed:
- soreness in the mammary gland: stitching, aching pains that intensify before menstruation, and fade after;
- feeling of fullness of the breast (puffiness, weighting);
- discomfort, feeling sdavlennosti;
- the appearance of discharge from the nipples (bloody, serous, purulent, dairy);
- violation of the menstrual cycle;
- palpation of tubercles in the gland during palpation.
How is treatment of diffuse FAM of mammary glands performed?
Therapeutic measures completely depend on the diagnostic indications, the age of the woman, the state of the organism, the stage of the disease. First of all, conservative therapy is conducted , the basis of which is the stabilization of the hormonal background. In this case, drugs such as:
- antiestrogens (Tamoxifen);
- progesterone preparations (DUFASTON);
- androgens (Danazol);
- antiprolactin (Bromocriptine).
In the complex treatment of the disease, iodine preparations (Yodamarin), normalizing the functioning of the thyroid and liver (Essentiale), can be prescribed.
If the course of hormone therapy has not been successful, surgical treatment may be prescribed, especially when there is a suspicion of a change in the nature of the lesions to malignant ones.
